The 'Brooke Ager' daffodil is an amazing late-blooming daffodil that appears in April. The white petals with bright centers draw your attention.
Blooms: The Narcissus 'Brooke Ager' will adorn your April garden with its blooms. The white petals surround the eye-popping apricot trumpet centers. Each bloom is 1/2 - 1" across. The 12-16" stem from each bulb only produces one bloom, but the size of hte bloom allows it to be planted near the front of your garden bed to give you a layered effect or en masse for a bold statement in your garden.
Plant: Plant the bulb like most daffodils in 6+ hours of winter sun, well-drained soil, avoid standing water, and avoiding too much competition. Plant the bulbs about 2-3 times the size of the bulb (so if the bulb is 1 inch long, plant it 2-3 inches deep). If you are farther north and get very cold during the winter, you may want to plant it about 4-6 inches deep. Space the holes about 3-6 inches apart, and for a more natural looking display, consider planting 2-3 bulbs in each hole.
