The Narcissus 'Clare' is in the jonquilla family which means that it usually has multiple small fragrant blooms per stem which make the area look full of flowers. These are a pale yellow on yellow open-faced jonquil bloom that will make you very happy. They are the perfect size for the front of your garden bed or mixed in planters.
Blooms: The Narcissus 'Clare' will adorn your April garden with its blooms. The pale yellow blooms capture your attention. The 6-8" stems produce multiple blooms per stem which fill your garden. You will wonder why you didn't plant twice as many.
Plant: Plant the bulb like most daffodils in 6+ hours of winter sun, well-drained soil, avoid standing water, and avoiding too much competition. If you are farther north and get very cold during the winter, you may want to plant it about 4-6 inches deep.
