Crinum ‘Carroll Abbott’ is named after one interesting man! Check out his story here: https://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/archives/parsons/heroes/abbott.html We love the crinum named after him. Think of a milk and wine crinum, but with dark “wine” patterns, fuller blooms, and more open flowers. It is a selection well worth having. We only wish we had more. They bloom in early spring along with the other April/May bloomers. We had them growing next to our Crinum ‘Burbank’s White Queen’ which is appropriate because there is little doubt that the two shared bulbs and plants throughout the early to mid 1900s!
